• A group of interested community members was briefed by Bendigo Bank in November 2006 in relation to the proposal to establish the Pambula & District Community Bank® Branch‚ and a committee formed to evaluate the proposal.

• A preliminary public meeting was held to discuss the Community Bank® concept and the steps required to establish a Community Bank® branch of Bendigo Bank at Pambula. As a result‚ the committee engaged an independent consultant‚ AFS & Associates to conduct a feasibility study in relation to the proposal.

• The results of the feasibility study were presented to the Community Bank® Board at a meeting held on 5 November 2007 and it was unanimously voted to proceed towards the establishment of the Bendigo Community Bank® Pambula Branch.

• The Bendigo Community Bank® Pambula Branch was opened on the 29 November 2008

As shareholders in Pambula & District Community Development Ltd the local Company formed to own the rights to operate a Bendigo community Bank Pambula Branch, it is in the Communities interest to help your Board in every way possible, the Board urges you to encourage your network of friends, family, mates and club members etc to transfer their banking to the Pambula & District  community bank branch as more customers transfer their banking to the  community bank branch the more you and the community benefits from the distribution of branch profits back into supporting worthwhile community projects.  

This web site has been set up to help you, it is an easy way for your Board to keep all share holders and   other registered members up to date with current and up coming events.

   It is also and avenue  for share holders to make suggestions via News & Comments on how to promote your Bendigo Community Bank® Pambula Branch to the wider community with in the shire you can also put forward suggestions on what clubs and or community projects you would like your board to sponsor.
